You are responsible — under CMS 42 CFR 482.12(e), 482.21, 482.22, 482.42, and 482.51, and under Joint Commission HR.01.07.01 EP 5 (and companions) — for ensuring that nonemployees brought into your procedural environments have the same competencies as your employed staff doing the same work. HVC gives you a third-party, exam-verified, real-time mechanism to demonstrate equivalency at survey.

What you can do today

• Verify a rep before tomorrow's case. Paste their REP Number™ at /verify. Bookmark or paste the canonical URL into your ticket. Read the result on a phone or a desktop. No login required.
• Cross-reference a QR code at the vendor desk. Reps can present a QR on a phone or printed badge; scanning takes you directly to the live verification.
• Audit-friendly deep links. Every result has a canonical URL. Paste it into your VCO record for survey evidence.

What's coming

• Bulk verification under agreement. Push tomorrow's OR roster, get a status per rep, with webhook subscription for status changes on a watched set.
• Bidirectional VCO integration. Push SC 1-2020 administrative-access status back to HVC for unified display where your hospital expects it.
